Lisa Winchell is a Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor, Certified Temperament Therapist, and Ordained Minister of Counseling having 10+ years of experience with individuals, couples, and youth. Bible-Based Temperament Counseling is provided, with a whole person approach. We first use the Word of God as the basis for all truth and transformation of spirit, soul, and body. Second, we utilize the most in depth and accurate temperament analysis available, to identify each clients unique temperament needs, strengths and weakness'. Thirdly, we provide counsel to each client on the importance of nutrition and fitness to emotional, spiritual, relational, and physical wellbeing.

Counseling is a relationship between counselor and client. The counselor is a vessel of God's love, empathy, respect, and wisdom. The client is a disciple of Christ's, willing and eager to participate in the process. In this setting, our Christ- Centered Temperament Therapy has proven to be 96% successful.

The Arno Profile System is used to identify the individual temperament traits of each person. This immediately provides a comprehensive portrait of the client’s strengths, weaknesses, and needs. The analysis also allows us to uncover false beliefs the client may have about themselves. We see in the Word that we are a product of our choices which are based on our beliefs about God, and ourselves. Therefore, we must uncover false beliefs and replace them with truth. When we have false beliefs about God, and about ourselves we make bad choices. When we choose by faith to believe what God's Word says about Him and about who we are in Him, we begin to make better choices with better results. As the client begins to understand these scriptural truths they find themselves in God's will, walking by faith, and experiencing life to the fullest. Not only does their life become more fulfilled, but the lives of family members, church members, and those around them are touched by the new found joy in their life.

Initial assessment $60, counseling fees are on a sliding scale based on income.

Personal Development Classes

Created in God's Image is a 7-week class, offered to church, business, and other groups that seek better communication, stronger morale, and deeper relationships with those around them.

Students will:

Learn how we were made in God's image, and who we are now in Christ.
Receive a personal profile on their unique God given temperament.
Learn more about their temperament and others, giving them a greater appreciation for themselves, family members, and others' differences and strengths.
Gain an understanding of the temperament weaknesses, and our need for God’s intervention to overcome those weaknesses.
Receive practical godly wisdom for making changes in areas identified, as well as insight into making appropriate choices in job and ministry placement.
Learn how to apply scriptural truths that bring joy and victory when understood and accepted by the student.
Learn how to communicate more effectively with each individual temperament.

The cost of this class is $150 per student, with at least 10 students registered. The price includes course materials, personal profile, and 21 hours of classroom teaching, with the last 3 hours tailored to each individual group.
