At In His Image Counseling, we seek to help each client find wholeness as described in Romans 15:13, which says “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” We take a whole person approach, addressing the body, soul and spirit.
There are many emotional issues that find a corner in our heart, and refuse to die down. With time, these issues can transform into a sort of emotional tumor that impacts negatively on our daily life, such as lack of concentration, enthusiasm, self respect, will to change, encouragement, and so on. These issues can spiral into our lives in various ways and can create problems in our relationships with each other and with God, our professional life, and health. We’ll work together to address the root cause of the problem.
We first use the word of God as the basis for all truth and transformation. Then, we use the Arno Profile System, revealing your individual God-given Temperament. This gives insight into any unmet needs in your life, and practical steps in getting those temperament needs met in ways that bring you joy and peace, and bring God honor as you step out in all He created you to be! Finally, we work to seek balance through emotional healing and inner transformation, as well look at nutritional needs that may be causing imbalance in emotions.
